Well, astronomers and scientist have finally made their dicision. Pluto has been officially declassified as a planet.
This ends years of debate on the subject. What it also does is prove that public opinion will always eventually lose to scientific fact. For years astronomers wouldn't reclassify pluto for fear of a public outcry, even though it was an innacurate classification. Today's announcement changes our history books forever! We now have a solar system with 8 known planets.
I am excited about this announcement as I beleive truth should always be known and fact should always win over public opinion. Let's move forward as a society and learn and grow. The more truth we set free, the better. |
